The updates continue and Leica have released v2.3 of their Captivate software for their current instruments and controllers this week. Tere are some nice little tweaks in there as well as the usual bundle of bug fixes.
For those of you exporting to GIS you can now code lines independently of the points you survey and those code names can now be up to 48 characters long (rather than the 16 you had before). The Captivate coding boxes can now be used outside the standard Measure app and can now be used in the Measure to line and Stake/Check Roads apps.
There’s a bunch of other improvements to the Roads as well, especially to the cross-section view.
As ever the updates are available on our support pages and you’ll need a CCP end date of 1st May 2017 to load it onto your equipment.
