As part of The Prince’s Trust Million Makers scheme, our parent company A-Plant has organised a three peaks challenge to help raise funds for the charity. We’re excited to announce that five members of the Opti-cal team have bravely agreed to take up the challenge.
At the end of August, our team members, Kathryn Stewart from our Livingston Service Centre, Ruby Saax of the Reading Service Centre, and Harry Sparshott, Rob Scott and Daniel Topping from the Milton Keynes Service Centre will all be joining the rest of the A-Team to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within a 24 hour period.
They’re already training hard in preparation for the challenge, on their own or together in the case of the Milton Keynes boys. Over the weekend, Ruby climbed Pen Y Fan not once, but twice, with her dog Maya providing excellent moral support!
If you would like to sponsor them, please follow this link, and don’t forget to say who you’re supporting in the comments!
